Lavender essential oil is the most popular of all oils.
Lavender has been known to promote the regeneration of skin cells which is why it is ideal to use on the skin diluted in a base oil such as almond or jojoba oil. It is an ideal addition to your first aid kit to help treat burns and to promote healing.
Our lavender essential oil is sourced from the flowering tips of the plant. The oil is extracted using the distillation method. 
Lavender essential oil is floral and fragrant with an array of therapeutic qualities.  Not only is it calming but it also has antiseptic qualities. Add a few drops to a warm bath, get in and relax. Or, add a few drops to a base carrier oil to create a massage oil or add to DIY skincare products.   
Lavender essential oil blends well with many other essential oils, especially Citrus oils. For example, lemon, lime, grapefruit, and orange. It also blends well with frankincense, chamomile, and black pepper.
Safety information:
Lavender is one of the safest essential oils. However, I recommend a skin patch test before using.
Despite being a gentle oil ensure you add it to a carrier oil such as almond oil before applying it to the skin. 
Dilute for bathing by adding it to a tablespoon of milk first. 
- Essential oils should only be used externally.
- Avoid use if pregnant.
- Avoid use on children under the age of 1 year.
- It is best to consult a qualified aromatherapist when using essential oils with children, or anyone with a health condition or suspected allergy.
