Our soy wax melts are beautifully scented and are handcrafted in New Zealand using 100% pure, therapeutic essentials oils.

Our soy wax melts are essentially our popular wellness candles but in wax melt form.

Each wax melt offers its own therapeutic benefits.

FAQ's

What is the burn time of your candles?

The burn time of any candle can vary significantly depending on the amount of wax used, the type and composition of the wax used, the size of the wick...and many many more.

To give you some idea, below is the approx. burn time of candles from each of our collections.

Tip: Trimming your wick to about 5mm just before each lighting can improve the burn time of your candle significantly.

Do you use natural or synthetic fragrances?

We use a combination of pure, natural, essential oils and fragrances.

There are natural and synthetic oils and fragrances that are toxic.

Likewise, there are natural and synthetic oils and fragrances that are deemed safe.

Unfortunately, many candles contain synthetic fragrances that contain toxins that are BAD for you and the environment. These are listed on the Proposition 65 List.

Our candles use a combination of natural and synthetic oils and fragrances that are known to be safe.

Unlike many candle makers, we will not use fragrances found on the Proposition 65 list.

What kind of wax do you use in your candles?

Our candles are made with 100% Pure, sustainably sourced Soy Wax.

Other forms of wax such as Paraffin are toxic and do not burn cleanly so we avoid these.

Are your candles Phthalate free?

Yes...

All of our candles (and wax melts) are phthalate free.

Are your candles Vegan friendly?

Yes...

All of our candles (and wax melts) are vegan friendly meaning that they contain no animal products.

Why don't you use wood wicks?

Although we love the look of wooden wicks, we have found them to be unreliable and often do not burn evenly.

This lead to other problems such as tunnelling.

So, we use 100% cotton wicks as we have found them to be the best.

Do you use synthetic or natural colours?

When we do use colours in our candles, we only use natural colours.

Most of our candles do not have colours added at all. We prefer to use colourful labels instead.
